Billings Farm & Museum
This is the crown jewel of Woodstock. A beautifully preserved Jersey dairy farm that's been working the land since 1871, combined with a museum that brings Vermont's agricultural heritage to life. Covered Bridges
Woodstock's Middle Bridge is one of Vermont's most photographed. Built in 1969 to replace an 1830s original, it spans the Ottauquechee River right in the heart of the village. A short drive takes you to several more historic bridges in the region.

Suicide Six Ski Area
One of the oldest ski areas in the United States — ski jumping was held here in 1934! Today it's a beloved small mountain with 23 trails, a vertical drop of 650 ft, and a friendly, old-school atmosphere. Owned by the Woodstock Inn, so staying there gets you ski perks.

Quechee Gorge
Just 6 miles east, "Vermont's Little Grand Canyon" drops 165 feet in a dramatic river gorge carved by glaciers. Park at the bridge overlook for a free view, or hike down into the gorge on well-maintained trails. Stunning in every season, especially fall.
